Royal Pallets continued to grow steadily. The year 2004 saw the construction of an additional production hall and storage space measuring 2500m².
Today our production equipment is extremely modern. We utilise it to produce four-way pallets for the paper and cardboard industry, two-way pallets for the construction industry, while there is also a specialised team ready for custom-made work.
Royer Pallets employs forty people across two locations.
Our systematic quality control system proves that quality is our forte. We constantly examine our production process, monitor our strict quality standards and regularly ask the question how we can work even more efficiently. We are now internationally recognised for the excellent and constant quality of our packaging, and we will never compromise on this.
Our quality guarantee obviously also shines through in our materials. We work with reliable and on-time suppliers and choose to invest in sustainable raw materials rather than buying the least expensive wood on the market. Our high productivity means we can purchase high quality material in large quantities to then offer it at a competitive price.
As a major player in the packaging world we feel socially responsible for creating employment. Besides ensuring a healthy financial balance, offering employment opportunities is one of our most important objectives. To do this we work with a number of local social employment organisations.
At our second production establishment we employ fifteen people who do not find working in the traditional work circuit so easy. We try to offer these persons a worthwhile activity and protect them against a hopeless unemployment situation. In due course some of them will make the step to a job in the usual work circuit. That is also a success story for us each time it happens.
